Presentation and history of the company
F.lli Temponi Trattamenti Termici s.r.l. was founded in 1974 as an artisan workshop by brothers Luciano, Pasquale and Piergiorgio Temponi. Sons are now following their fathers’ footsteps with the same enthusiasm and the same will-force in the Nave (BS) premises where three separate workshops cover a total area of approximately 23000 sq.m.
Each unit is dedicated to a specific production process:
- Unit 1: cast iron and metal structure cycle for components of small dimensions;
- Unit 2: metal structure cycle for components of large dimensions;
- Unit 3: light alloys cycle.
The company continues its quest for improvement in order to satisfy a market that is evolving and increasingly more demanding:
- production has been computerised and the progress of materials through the departments is controlled by software;
- the new Internet site contains a reserved area where registered customers can download Transport Documents (DDT), invoices and certificates, and independently view the progress of works on their materials simply by entering the password issued by the company in compliance with the Legislative Decree 196/2003 on privacy;
- all furnaces are connected through the PLC to software which reads and stores all the heat treatment cycles performed.
Computerisation, therefore, at 360° to ensure the traceability and availability of processes, but always with customer contact and dialogue as the main theme. A concept of a dynamic company, always in movement and attentive to the environmental impact of every decision: a pioneer in differentiated waste collection, in combating electromagnetic fields, encouraging recycled energy, applying this philosophy also to the choice of systems, machinery, materials and equipment.
